The Wannabes play classic British and American pop from the 1960s, along with a selection of tunes from the 1950s and 1970s. And we also play enough tunes of more recent vintage to keep audience members of all ages interested. (Click on the link to the left for the full, up-to-date song list.)
We keep it simple--two guitars, bass and drums--but add some complexity with three-part harmonies and a few unusual instruments and arrangements that keep the spirit of the original record (and we use that word intentionally!) alive. How else can we describe it? Well-rehearsed, high energy, and fun!
